The use of sustainable and natural ingredients in cosmetics has been a recurring demand of consumers and public opinion. The incoming Sustainable Beauty Forum, held in Frankfurt on 8-9 September, 2022 will pull together some of the biggest market players to discuss and share the different perspectives.
Gianluca Merola, Naturbeads CCO, will share with the audience the steps that Naturbeads is taking to expand its presence in this sector, proposing the use of sustainable cellulose microbeads to replace plastic-based products. Gianluca Merola will also chair a broader panel conversation with colleagues from DOW, BASF and Borregaard covering the usage of harmful chemicals in cosmetics products.
