The Emerging Technologies Competition was started in 2013 to celebrate the very best of chemical science innovation, catapult exciting ideas towards commercialisation through a dedicated support package, and raise the profile of often overlooked solutions to society's biggest challenges. What started with just nine finalists presenting at the Royal Society of Chemistry’s prestigious Burlington House has grown to welcome over 1,200 applications from 23 countries. 266 finalists have been selected to present to our esteemed panel of judges and competition partners, who have in turn crowned 60 winners. Naturbeads is listed as one of the Emergency Technologies Finalists 2021 for its unique technology in manufacturing cellulose based microbeads.
