What will you do?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field. She/he will be able to show a proven research track record in the area of cellulose or other biopolymers.

 

In this role, the prospective candidate will conduct applied research and development of cellulose-based materials and products used in personal care, life science, and various industrial applications. She/he will analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare research progress reports, and present the developed technology in sector conferences and/or to interested clients.

The selected person will be working autonomously, in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. She/he will lead a small team of chemists and technicians. She/he will be ready to enjoy the flow of challenges in our day-to-day activities, capable of finding a reward in an accelerating list of priorities, working shoulder to shoulder in a rapidly expanding team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.

• Strong background of a minimum of 5 years in R&D with a proven track record of materials and product development in the area of biopolymers (cellulose or similar)

• Experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, IR, XRD, and microscopy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Prior team management experience would be preferred.
