Naturbeads Italia honoured with the “America Innovazione” Award granted by Italia-USA Foundation

Naturbeads is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious “America Innovazione” award, promoted by the Italia-USA Foundation in recognition of Italy's most innovative and internationally competitive startups and small-to-medium enterprises. Antonio Toma, Managing Director of Naturbeads Italia, accepted the award on behalf of the company at an institutional ceremony held at the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome on 9 April 2026.

The prize is awarded annually by the Italia-USA Foundation to up to 300 entrepreneurial talents whose ventures stand out for their innovation, competitiveness, and potential on the global market. Running alongside the long-standing “Premio America” – reserved for internationally renowned figures – this award has established itself as a mark of quality and a certification of credibility in the eyes of investors and business communities worldwide.

Recipients are independently selected by the Italia-USA Foundation through the Italian Business Register and the national Chamber of Commerce network, based on a rigorous evaluation of innovation, investment potential and global competitiveness. Being chosen for this award is a testament to the genuine impact and distinctiveness of Naturbeads Italia's work.

This recognition reflects our commitment to combining scientific rigour with environmental responsibility, values that have guided Naturbeads since its founding and that continue to drive our growth in international markets.

Naturbeads Ltd is a startup commercialising a manufacturing process for the continuous production of cellulose microbeads. Our cellulose microbeads are being tested in cosmetic and personal care products, paints and coating, adhesive, packaging and many other industrial and consumers applications to replace polluting plastic microbeads.

Naturbeads cellulose beads are 100% biodegradable and show the same performance of plastic microbeads. We built our first production plant in Italy to launch our product in 2026.
