Innovation ranking celebrates UK businesses of all sizes creating technology for sustainability and the environment
Naturbeads is pleased to reveal that we feature in the EnviroTech 50 innovation ranking for 2026!
Readers of online technology publication BusinessCloud and an expert judging panel together decided the 50 most innovative GreenTech and CleanTech companies headquartered in the UK.
Naturbeads made the cut with our patented technology that transforms cellulose into perfectly spherical, biodegradable particles with the performance of plastic. Using a continuous, solvent-recycling process, the technology delivers high-performance, scalable materials for consumer products while reducing environmental impact.
The EnviroTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech solutions for use in green energy, to protect the environment and boost sustainability.
“The EnviroTech 50 is, at its core, a celebration of technologies benefiting our fragile planet by protecting the environment and driving forward sustainability,” said Jonathan Symcox, editor of BusinessCloud.
“They are making recycling more efficient; reducing humanity's reliance on single-use plastics and fossil fuels; boosting the food supply; increasing ESG reporting in business; and decarbonising heavy industry.
“It's a pleasure to shine a light on these purpose-driven companies being built from the UK.”
BusinessCloud called on its readers to vote for companies from the 144-strong shortlist. A combination of these votes and choices from an expert judging panel determined the top 50.
